Overview

Email Cadences creates reusable Post-Call and Auto-Cadence email campaigns for the selected client. Start with a blank manual draft or generate from the client Playmaker, then edit each subject and body, save versions, and apply complete copy to a live campaign. Everything is per client, so pick the right deal in the top-right Client switcher first. Playmaker is required for AI generation, but manual campaign creation remains available without it. Applying is blocked until every email has a subject and meaningful body. Employees can create new campaigns from this page, while client sessions can review saved versions without a New Campaign control; a client with no saved versions sees a read-only empty state.

How to use this page

  1. Pick the client and open a new campaign

Use the Select Client switcher in the top right. Employees can then click New Campaign and choose a creation path. Client sessions can review the selected client's saved campaign versions, but cannot create a new campaign here; if no versions exist, the page explains that there are no saved email campaign versions yet.

  2. Choose how to create a campaign

After clicking New Campaign, choose Write manually for a blank draft or Generate with Playmaker AI for a Playmaker-based sequence. The AI option is disabled until the selected client's Playmaker value proposition is complete. Both paths create a reusable version for the selected client. This creation chooser is available to employees; client sessions remain read only for saved campaign versions.

  3. Create a manual campaign

Choose Write manually, enter a campaign name, select Post-Call or Auto-Cadence, set 1 to 10 email steps, choose Variant A only or Variants A and B, and click Create Manual Draft. The blank version opens in the existing editor. Complete every subject and body before applying it to a live campaign.

  4. Set the style, section, and number of steps

In the panel, choose a Campaign Style (Value-First is recommended, plus Pain-Agitate-Solve, Social Proof, and Story-Driven). Pick the Campaign Section (Post-Call follows up after a call disposition; Auto-Cadence is the campaign's automated sequence, and this controls where Apply writes the templates). Set Email Steps (1 to 10) and add Custom Instructions.

  5. Generate the sequence

Click Generate Campaign. Progress shows step by step and the finished sequence opens in the main view as a saved version, one card per email with its subject, body, and any A/B variants.

  6. Edit and refine each email

Click the pencil on any email card to edit its subject and body, then Save. Switch between Variant A and Variant B on cards that have both. Click the version name to rename it, and use the star to mark your best version. The Body field uses a rich-text editor that keeps formatting while you type; click Save to write the edited copy, and switching variants closes the current edit before showing the selected variant.

  7. Apply the templates to a campaign

Click Apply to Campaign, pick a campaign from the list, and the emails are written in as templates for the section you generated (Post-Call or Auto-Cadence). A toast confirms which campaign received them. This is the only action that changes a live campaign. Apply to Campaign stays disabled when any subject or body is empty, only whitespace, or exceeds the editor limit. The server validates the same complete-copy boundaries before writing templates.

  8. Export or delete a version

Use Export to Google Docs or Export PDF to share the copy outside the tool. Delete removes a version permanently after a confirmation. Every generation is kept as its own version in the left list, so you can compare and reuse them.

What the buttons do

New Campaign (staff only)
Opens the source chooser for a manual blank campaign or a Playmaker AI-generated sequence. Client sessions do not see this control and can review saved versions only.
Campaign Style
Chooses the copy approach for a Playmaker AI-generated sequence: Value-First (recommended), Pain-Agitate-Solve, Social Proof, or Story-Driven.
Campaign Section (Post-Call / Auto-Cadence)
Post-Call emails follow up after a call disposition; Auto-Cadence emails are the campaign's automated sequence. This sets where Apply to Campaign writes the templates.
Email Steps stepper
Sets how many emails the sequence has, from 1 to 10.
Generate Campaign
Drafts the full sequence from the Playmaker with the chosen style, section, steps, and instructions.
Edit (pencil on an email card)
Opens the email's subject and body for editing; Save writes the change to the version.
Star
Marks a version as a favorite so it stands out in the versions list.
Apply to Campaign
Writes the sequence into a chosen campaign as Post-Call or Auto-Cadence templates. The only action that changes a live campaign.
Export to Google Docs
Creates a Google Doc of the sequence and opens it in a new tab.
Export PDF
Opens a print-ready PDF in a new tab. If your browser blocks pop-ups, a message asks you to allow pop-ups for this site and try again.
Delete
Permanently deletes the selected version after a confirmation prompt.
Rich-text body editor
Formats the email body while keeping the in-progress HTML draft stable; Save serializes the edited body to the version.
Write manually
Opens the manual campaign form for a name, Post-Call or Auto-Cadence section, 1 to 10 steps, and single or A/B variants.
Generate with Playmaker AI
Opens the AI generation settings for the selected client. It is unavailable until Playmaker is complete.
Create Manual Draft
Creates the named blank campaign version and opens it in the editor. Every subject and body must be completed before applying.
Complete-copy validation
Keeps Apply to Campaign unavailable until every email has a subject and meaningful body within the page limits.

Common questions

Playmaker AI generation requires the selected client's Playmaker value proposition to be complete. Manual campaign creation does not require Playmaker: click New Campaign, choose Write manually, and create a blank draft.
Post-Call emails follow up after a call disposition. Auto-Cadence emails are the automated sequence the campaign sends on its own. The Campaign Section setting also controls where Apply to Campaign writes the templates.
No. Generation only drafts copy, and edits stay on the version. Nothing reaches a campaign until you click Apply to Campaign and pick one.
The PDF opens in a new browser window, so a pop-up blocker can stop it. Allow pop-ups for this site and click Export PDF again; you will see an error toast when it was blocked.
Yes. Each generation is saved as its own version in the left list, so you can compare, star, edit, and apply any of them.
Yes. The Body field keeps the formatted draft in the editor while you type instead of flattening it on every keystroke. Save the email to store the edited copy, or switch variants to close the current edit before viewing the other variant.
Employees can. Click New Campaign and choose Write manually. Name the campaign, choose Post-Call or Auto-Cadence, set the number of steps and variants, then create the blank draft. Playmaker is required only for the AI generation path. Client sessions can review saved versions but cannot create campaigns from this page.
A manual campaign can have 1 to 10 email steps, either Variant A only or Variants A and B per step, and a Post-Call or Auto-Cadence section. The draft opens in the existing editor for writing.
Every email needs a non-empty subject and meaningful body before the version can be applied. The page also blocks subjects over 200 characters and bodies over 20,000 characters. Fill in or shorten the flagged email, then Apply to Campaign becomes available.
New Campaign is an employee-only control. Client sessions can view saved email campaign versions for the selected client, but they cannot create or generate new versions from this page. If no versions exist, the page shows a read-only message instead.
