Overview
The contact detail page is the full record for one prospect on the selected client. Review and edit contact fields, assign potential-meeting ownership via the Assignment subsection, change status, see and change campaign membership, and read the activity timeline for calls, emails, meetings, inbox, and history. Custom Fields sit above Outreach Stats so they are easy to find. Use Call to jump into the campaign dialer scoped to this contact. When you open the record from Contact activity on an active inbound callback, the Call action keeps that callback context and can open inbound-callback scope even when normal status rules would exclude the contact. If the contact is not in a campaign yet, the Campaigns section lets you add it right from here. Open a contact from the Contacts manager by clicking its name. Call-only contacts without an email still open normally, and the avatar uses a neutral ? fallback when both first name and email are unavailable. Meeting Information uses Booked Date for when the meeting was booked, while Meeting Date & Time is the scheduled slot. Booked Date cannot be set to a future day. Meeting Information keeps the recorded Set By person visible even when that person is a responder rather than a Deal SDR. An existing booked meeting cannot have Set By cleared from this editor, so choose the correct person instead or use the dedicated meeting deletion workflow when the booking itself should be removed. For an explicitly selected follow-up, an active or paused campaign can supply the dialer settings and script even when the contact has no current enrollment; this does not enroll the contact or start campaign cadence.
How to use this page
Open a contact
Pick the client in the switcher, go to Contacts, and click a contact name. The header shows the person's name, title, company, and current status. The Back button returns to the Contacts manager.
Call from the contact record
Click Call in the header to open the campaign dialer with only this contact queued. The button is enabled when the contact has a usable active or paused campaign source and a callable phone. An active enrollment or valid historical enrollment supplies the normal campaign context; when the contact has no current enrollment, an active or paused campaign shell can supply dial settings and script for this explicit call without enrolling the contact or starting cadence. For a normal prospect without current enrollment, the dialer opens in direct-followup scope (?scope=direct-followup&contacts=). For a booked prospect whose status is Meeting Set, Meeting Held, Rescheduling, Rescheduled, or On Hold, Call opens the meeting-followup scope (?scope=meeting-followup&contacts=). For an eligible Potential Meeting that is not taking the booked or inbound callback path, Call opens the separate potential-followup scope (?scope=potential-followup&contacts=). When you open the record from Contact activity on an active inbound callback, Call opens inbound-callback scope for this contact and can bypass normal status eligibility for that callback. Archived contacts, contacts without a usable campaign source, contacts without a callable phone, and terminal statuses that are not eligible for one of these explicit paths cannot be called.
Edit contact fields and status
Use the Contact section to click and edit name, email, Direct Phone, Direct Phone Ext, Mobile Phone, Company Phone, title, LinkedIn, Department, Management Level, Job Function, Tag, List Name, follow-up date, and custom fields. Each field saves individually on blur or Enter. Change status with the Status dropdown in the header; dialer-only dispositions are hidden, and pipeline statuses use the progression guard so a contact cannot regress, for example meeting_set cannot revert to interested.
Assign Potential Meeting Owner, Sales Rep, and SDR
Scroll to the Assignment subsection within the Contact section, below the Country field. Potential Meeting Owner and Sales Rep are free-text fields, so any name can be entered and saved on blur or Enter, preserving raw names from list uploads even when they do not match a SalesHive user. Sales Development Rep is a dropdown listing users on the current client; pick a name to assign outreach. Set it back to Select... to clear the assignment.
Edit Meeting Information and watch the save status
In the Meeting section, click any meeting field to edit it. Each change saves on its own, and a small badge beside Meeting Information confirms Saving, Saved, or Error. Fields include meeting date, time, timezone, outcome, owner, and contract value. Booked Date records when the meeting was booked; use Meeting Date & Time for a future scheduled slot. A future Booked Date is rejected with an inline error. The Set By selector keeps the recorded setter available, including a responder who is not in the client SDR assignments. When an existing booked meeting has a setter, clearing Set By is rejected; select the correct person instead, or remove the booking through the dedicated meeting workflow.
Add the contact to a campaign
Open the Campaigns section. When the contact is not currently enrolled in any campaign, an Add to a campaign dropdown and an Add button appear under the Current row. Pick an active campaign, click Add, and the contact is enrolled right away with a confirmation toast. Only active campaigns are listed. Once enrolled, the campaign badge links to the campaign detail page.
Review company, meeting, and campaigns
Use the section nav, Contact, Company, Meeting, Campaigns, Tasks, and Activity, to jump between panels. Company shows firmographics and address. Campaigns shows current and most recent campaign with badges linking to campaign detail. Meeting shows the meeting fields. Custom Fields appear above Outreach Stats on the contact detail card so they are easy to find.
Read the activity timeline
The Activity panel on the right lists calls, emails, inbox threads, meetings, and history. Filter with All, Emails, Calls, Inbox, Meetings, or History tabs. Each email entry shows a sequence badge, Post-Call, Auto-Cadence, Disposition, or Manual, indicating how it was sent. Call entries show disposition and a recording link when available. History entries can include status or category updates and Meeting owner changed when a future meeting assignment moves to a replacement owner, or Potential meeting owner changed when potential follow-up ownership is updated.
What the buttons do
- Call
- Opens the contact dialer scoped to this prospect. Normal contacts without current enrollment use direct-followup scope when an active or paused campaign can supply settings and script; booked, Potential Meeting, and inbound callback contacts use their dedicated follow-up scopes. The contact is not enrolled just by opening this explicit dial. It is disabled when no usable active or paused campaign source, callable phone, or eligible status is available.
- Status dropdown (header)
- Sets the contact's outreach status. Dialer-only dispositions are hidden here, and pipeline statuses use the progression guard so a contact cannot regress to an earlier stage.
- Meeting Information save status
- Badge beside the Meeting Information heading that confirms edits with Saving, Saved, or Error. Each meeting field saves independently.
- Potential Meeting Owner (free-text)
- Free-text field in Assignment. Type any name and save on blur or Enter. It preserves raw contact owner names from list uploads even when they do not match a SalesHive user.
- Sales Rep (free-text)
- Free-text field in Assignment. Type any name and save on blur or Enter. It preserves raw sales rep names from list uploads even when they do not match a SalesHive user.
- Sales Development Rep dropdown
- Lists users on the current client and assigns the SDR responsible for outreach. Saves immediately on change.
- Direct Phone Ext
- Editable field directly below Direct Phone. Saves individually like the other contact fields.
- Tag
- Free-text label below Job Function for grouping or categorizing contacts. Saves individually.
- List Name
- Free-text label below Tag indicating which list the contact belongs to. Saves individually.
- Campaign badge
- Links to the contact's current campaign detail page.
- Add to a campaign dropdown
- Shown in Campaigns only when the contact is not enrolled in any campaign. Lists active campaigns.
- Add (campaign)
- Enrolls the contact in the campaign chosen in the dropdown and confirms with a success toast.
- Email sequence badge
- On each email in Activity, identifies Post-Call, Auto-Cadence, Disposition, or Manual sending.
- Back
- Returns to the Contacts manager.
- Archive / Unarchive
- Archives the contact from active outreach or restores it. Archived contacts cannot be dialed.
- Activity filters
- Narrows the timeline to emails, calls, inbox, meetings, or history.
- Booked Date
- Meeting Information field for the date the meeting was booked. It cannot be set to a future day; use Meeting Date & Time for the scheduled slot.
- Set By (Meeting Information)
- Shows and edits who set the meeting. A recorded setter stays in the options even when they are a responder outside the client SDR assignments; an existing booked meeting cannot be cleared here.
